WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY?

These days, yoga therapeutics can be used as a part of a treatment plan to help with anything from anxiety to rehabilitating a knee injury. While there are other forms of yoga therapy (eg. Chakra balancing, Reiki, traditionally Eastern modes of healing), I specialize in structural-alignment yoga therapy. 


WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • An initial consultation where we have the opportunity to chat about your health history, main complaint, and treatment plan. If yoga therapy was referred to you by another health professional, we will work together as a team to help get you back to 100%.
     
  • Weekly or biweekly 60 minute sessions where we will check in on your progress and you will be given anywhere from 2-5 take home exercises/ stretches. These movement pieces may or may not look like traditional yoga- which means no worries if you've never stepped foot in a yoga studio- no experience needed!
